Public Meeting on P3 Procurement Option for I-66 Improvements – August 17, 2015
August 14, 2015On Monday, August 17 at 2 PM, the Transportation Public-Private Partnership Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting in Richmond to determine if a P3 (public/private) procurement would be in the public’s best interest to finance the I-66 Outside the Beltway project.
The public is invited to attend to listen to the committee’s discussion. Public comments will be taken during this meeting.

VDOT Holding I-66/Route 15 Interchange “Pardon Our Dust” Meeting – August 12, 2015
August 10, 2015The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be holding a “pardon our dust” meeting for the I-66 and Route 15 interchange project on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. The meeting take place from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, with a formal presentation at 7:00 PM, and will be held at Ronald W. Reagan Middle School (15801 Tanning House Place, Haymarket, VA 20169).

Ribbon Cutting for New Interchange at Route 29 and Linton Hall Road – July 9
July 8, 2015On Thursday, July 9, at 10 AM, VDOT will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the Route 29/Linton Hall Road Interchange. This large transportation project began in June 2011 and I’m very excited to celebrate its completion. I hope you can join me, Brentsville District Supervisor Lawson, and VDOT officials for this special event.
World Police and Fire Games – June 26 through July 5
June 15, 2015This year, the World Police and Fire Games (WPFG) are being held in Northern Virginia from June 26 through July 5. Some of the events will be held in our own Prince William County.
Around 12,000 professional public safety athletes from 70 countries will come to the DC Metro area to compete in over 50 sporting events.
The World Police and Fire Games are a spectacular international sporting event. These games offer public service personnel from around the world the opportunity to showcase their athletic excellence. I would like to encourage you and your family to attend the WPFG Games. Attendance is free and you will be able to see teams and players from all over the world compete! Sudley & Westgate Community Clean Up & Shred Event – June 13, 2015

The shred truck will be on site from 9 AM to 12 PM.

Get outdoors and do your part to keep our neighborhood clean and beautiful.
Bring your old furniture, small appliances and large items that can’t go in your normal trash collection to the dumpster.
Safely and securely dispose of unwanted and sensitive documents.
The County is providing the dumpsters and shred truck free of charge to the neighborhood.
This gives you the chance to get rid of things that create Code Violations on your property or just take too much space to store.
The following items CANNOT be disposed of in the dumpster but are accepted in the County Landfill:
– Antifreeze
– Commercial waste
– Fuel drums
– Fuel tanks
– Household hazardous waste
– Motor oil
– Paint/Paint thinners
– Pesticides
– Pool chemicals
Volunteer to Help Your Neighbors
We need community members to help unload items into the dumpster and ensure hazardous waste is not thrown into the dumpster. It’s a great way to get to know others in your community and lend a helping hand.

Town Hall Meeting Hosted by Delegate Bob Marshall – January 12, 2015
January 5, 2015The Legislative Town Hall hosted by Delegate Bob Marshall has been rescheduled for Monday, January 12, 2015, at 7 PM at Battlefield High School (15000 Graduation Drive, Haymarket, VA 20169). The meeting will take place in the school’s Auditorium and will provide a venue for the discussion of Dominion Power’s proposed 230 kV transmission lines and substation in the Haymarket area.

Gainesville Polar Express Holiday Party – December 11, 2014
